Hofstede's definition (2001) of national culture - that it is mental programming: a pattern thoughts, feelings, and actions each person acquires in childhood then applies throughout life arms us with an ability to explain the differences attitudes towards work. In his model, which consists six dimensions, Hofstede describes society's effect on values. As deeply rooted norms shapes individual's behavior, very strongly molds entrepreneurial spirit one country. Namely, society wants promote entrepreneurship emergence more entrepreneurs definitely needs supports it. The paper introduces fear failure as seventh dimension high status eighth six-dimensional model culture, looks closely into countries' by analyzing impact dimensions have determination country's population start business. By studying secondary data from Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, eight economies been desk-researched.
